Consultant, Application Architect

We’re searching for a DevOps Engineer (Consultant, Appl Architect) with a good mix of drive, positive attitude, hunger for knowledge, aptitude to learn, and passion for technology automation to be part of our diverse team of talents here at NCS!

What we seek to accomplish together:

• Engage clients to discuss devops automation requirements, design, architecture and implementation details 
• Support devops project lifecycle implementations as part of a team
• Support development of devops architecture, design and implementations and derive technical design specifications
• Study requirements and explore innovative ways to automate continuous software build, test and delivery
• Implement devops technical design specifications and resolve technical issues
• Participate in devops implementations and ensure progress on all fronts
• Develop pipelines to integrate with various build, test, security scan and deploy tools 
• Develop scripts to automate and integrate various pipeline tasks for build, test, scan and deploy.
• Manage change requests and able to re-solution and adapt to changing circumstances from all fronts
• Troubleshoot. investigate and resolve automation technical issues, perform root cause analysis and propose fixes
• Implement procedures for system maintenance
• Develop documentations for implementations and operations

A little about you:

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• Strong technically inclined attributes with unyielding persistence to solve problems.
• Deep passion to understand client challenges and develop targeted and optimal ideas to achieve client satisfaction
• Strong technical solutioning capability and enjoys the process from ideation to execution
• Strong execution ability, think on the feet and highly adaptable
• Deep hands on experience as an Infra/application developer or in similar technical role for IT automation
• Familiarity with Devops concepts, and CICD toolings such as Azure Devops, AWS Devops. Jenkins
• Familiarity with at least 2 of the following tools : Jenkins, AWS Devops, Azure Devops Bamboo, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Sonarqube, Fortify Webinspect, Fortify SCA, Maven, Junit, Nexus repository, NexusIQ
• Good knowledge and practical experience on shell scripting 
• Working knowledge of application, databases and COTS deployments
• Great attitude, keen to learn, high energy level, proactive and highly collaboration
• Good communication skills and able to work across different stakeholders internal and external
• Strong logical mind, analytical and expressive personality
• Application development background is a bonus
