As part of NCS transformation initiative, NCS Digital Tribe is established within the Transformation Office. The mandate of the Digital Tribe is to accelerate the development and rollout of various digital products internally for our people, and for some products, to our clients. Your key responsibility is to discover what product users need, prioritizes what to build next, and rallies the team around a product roadmap.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Discover what users need by adopting design thinking or other innovation techniques to conduct user research and unveiling critical insights.
  • Create the product’s long-term vision and strategy.
  • Turns user needs into actionable user stories, prioritize the user stories, and arranges user stories in the product backlog.
  • Decide what features to build next and work with Digital Squad Leaders to align around a cohesive product roadmap with delivery milestones and sprints.
  • Attends all agile and scrum meetings to ensure that development work is aligned with the roadmap and prioritization.
  • Work with Solution Architect to develop a technically scalable product, delivering features to users suitably, timely and with ease to use.
  • Champion the team, partners, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment around overall strategy and direction of the product.

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • Proven work experience in product management or agile project management
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
