Responsibilities

  • Willing to work in fast-paced environment and be able to provide decisions under pressure.
  • Pick up knowledge on internal systems that concerns management of Fibre based products such as DWDM, ISDN, MetroE, Ethernetlink, Elite and Evolve.
  • Understand Fibre provisioning & Maintenance process and the relevant stakeholders involved at each stage of the process.
  • Manage contractors and internal teams to perform roles such as Fibre Survey, Fibre cable installations and Fibre service activations and ensure milestones are tracked and delivered within a given requested date.
  • Ensure contractor execute all access Fibre cable works in the area under his control in accordance with all established operation procedures and engineering instructions.
  • Team player to perform cross functional roles and required to liaise with the relevant internal departments within Singtel to resolve day to day operational issues arising from the delivery of the Fibre service.
  • Work with contractors to ensure all Fibre installation jobs are tracked and jobs are closed in the tracking system after service delivery
  • Liaise with building management and manage contractors for the implementation of last mile Fibre installation for Fibre based products.
  • Ensure the technicians and contractors follow safety procedure in accordance to the work health and safety act (WHSA) and to use appropriate safety equipment in their job
  • Responsible for meeting the Key Performance Indicator targets for the delivery of Fibre broadband services.
  • Assist Supervisor on compiling weekly and monthly statistical report and any other report requested on an Ad-Hoc basis.
  • Capable of providing solutions and strategy to tackle issues concerned with Fibre provisioning.
  • Responsible for the logistics and management of team to ensure Ad-Hoc activities by team can be carried out effectively.

 

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Min 2 years of relevant experience
  • Knowlege MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, Tableau
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Goal oriented with good analytical skill. Committed to deliver high quality output
  • Proactive, able to work independently, possesses creative problem solving skills and able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
