We are looking for a Legal Manager to support the 5G, Edge Cloud computing, application marketplace/store, and IoT (Internet of Things) business, with emphasis on collaborations and sales.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing, negotiating, and drafting a wide range of international, 5G, cloud services and IoT agreements, including licensing agreements, professional services agreements, reseller agreements, customer agreements, and responses to requests for proposals.
  • Work directly with the business, providing advice to the business and cross-functional stakeholders on legal issues and risks, intellectual property rights, and company policies. On occasion, he or she may be required to manage pre-litigation legal disputes, and conduct training for the business
  • Review and draft service agreements and contract documents.
  • Provide support, advice, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders on legal issues including IPR and risk implication.
  • Manage legal dispute and negotiate terms with customers, partners and suppliers.

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB) or equivalent from a reputable university
  • 3 to 6 years of work experience in a law firm or in-house
  • Professional level fluency of written and spoken English
  • Sound knowledge in company law, contract law, and product liability law
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating contractsPpro-activeness and a desire to learn
  • Aptitude for working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Keen interest in the IT industry
