Make an Impact by

  • Assist Senior Cost Manager to develop/improve cost management strategies and processes.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to drive budget and forecast exercises. manage approved project capital funding cashflow and spending within approved budgets.
  • Perform data analysis to aid Project Managers in estimating tender sum and provisional sum requirements.
  • Partner with Project Managers to establish payment milestone and claim processes for major projects.
  • Liaises with Vendor Management team to ensure Purchase Orders (PO) issuance till PO closures.
  • Worked with Project Manager to put up justification for contract award increase, where applicable.
  • Manage payment claims to ensure all claims are properly validated, processed timely and all spendings are tracked closely against the budget and contract sum.
  • Monitor all spending and follow up closely with Finance on any budget reforecast, monthly accruals and explanations that may be required.
  • Keeping pace with the constant changes in project developments and progresses.
  • Assist Project Manager to update project progress (commercial portion) to Stakeholders
  • Knowledgeable in civil and structural, architecture and interior fitout SOW pricing and strategy
  • Resourceful and excellent problem-solving skills, timely escalation to superior.
  • Ability in reading design and construction drawings for all fields (Architectural, Structural, M&E, etc.)
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Project Director

Skills for Success

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Construction or Equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field with proven track records
  • Experience in cost management for major project
  • Technical knowledge and experience in Quantity Surveying duties
  • Cost and finance management
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel
  • Able to work independently, proactively and is self- motivated
