The Credit Management Executive, is responsible for the timely collection of overdue accounts and for ensuring that accounts are collected in accordance with established guidelines and agreed terms resulting in improved cash flow and reduced bad debt write-offs.

Please note this role will be for a 9 month fixed term contract.

 

Your day to day will consist of...

  • Collection of outstanding accounts in accordance with company policy
  • Communicate, either via telephone, email or face to face, with clients to negotiate payment arrangements on outstanding balances on escalated matters
  • Ensure actions taken to recover overdue amounts are clearly noted on all customer accounts. This includes the requirement to audit the standard of notes recorded
  • Establish satisfactory payment patterns for accounts, in accordance with performance standards
  • Review overdue accounts daily to ensure accounts are trading within the agreed trading terms

 

What makes you perfect for the role?

  • Solid experience in a similar Collections Role, with exposure to the delivery of 360 degree feedback
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of creativity and compassion to achieve a high level of service standard, in both Customer Service and the Collection of Overdue Accounts
  • Previous experience working in Telco or a large complex organisation advantageous
  • High level interpersonal skills including demonstrated verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate effectively at all levels, with team members, customers and members of other work groups
  • Proven problem solving skills to ensure problems are efficiently and effectively resolved to the satisfaction of the customer and in accordance with Optus objectives
