Singtel’s Group Enterprise (GE) business is Digitally Transforming their business to bring value to customers and stakeholders through new technologies and new ways of working.

 

In order to do this, the Digital Transformation is building a digital workforce to run Digital ‘Factories’ across the business, supported by a Control Tower to embed capability change and facilitate engagement with external to the business players – such as start-ups or leading tech players.

 

The company has an ambitious Digital plan in place to grow their digital capabilities, including their ability to deliver Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) based solutions in an agile manner.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Able to lead and support agile projects teams towards results within time constraints (e.g. three-four months) in cooperation with project Business Owners, Users, Product Owners (MVP Leads) and IT Development Leads.
  • Proven experience facilitating agile project management in a corporate environment across a range of digital solutions (e.g. customer portals, productivity tools, process automation, etc.).
  • Comfortable facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews/demos and retrospective meetings in absence of SCRUM Master (e.g. in Discovery & Design phases of projects).
  • Able to coach multiple teams at the same time and coach them towards self-organizing, high-performing teams.
  • Possesses conflict resolution capability, and demonstrates values of openness, honesty and respect.
  • Able to signal resource and capability requirements in cooperation with Product Owners (MVP Leads).
  • Help team or individual to clarify product visions and actions to clarify and test assumptions and drive execution.
  • Able to shield project teams from outside distractions and interferences for them to be focused on learning and execution.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree from established university in Business or Engineering
  • 5-7 years of industry experience
  • Proven ability to deliver digital transformations in large corporations with complex IT legacy systems
  • Successful track record of acting as a change agent, embedding new capability across an organization
  • Proven experience in embedding agile methodologies across a corporate organization
  • Proven ability to inspire team members belonging to different cultures and geographies
  • Proven ability to interface and exert influence across multiple functions across the organization
  • Strong understanding of the IT environment and technology
  • Ideally, certification in Agile Project Management (eg, PMI-ACP or alike)
  • Scrum / rapid sprinting in corporate environment
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Able to communicate and work with senior leaders across the business units
  • Stakeholder management – Senior Management, CXOs, external vendors
  • Be able to interface and exert influence across multiple functions across the organization
  • Agile methodologies
  • Large Digital Transformations in corporate environment
