• Should be responsible for the implementation of DevSecOps automated application deployment, security, and monitoring systems in Singtel Cloud ( AWS / Azure ) for one or more application teams.
• Should possess strong knowledge on system integration, networking troubleshooting along with application traceability skills.
• Should be capable on adopting new technology with growth mindset.
• Should Support applications in their build pipeline development as well as advising the team on the infrastructure and service components that are available to them for use in their solutions.
• Should have better understanding on  how to deploy an monitor service mesh in Kubernetes clusters and how to setup monitoring of the services in CloudWatch, ELK, and Prometheus..
• Understand how the cloud platform infrastructure is built and will be able to advise application development teams on the proper use of components.
• Should be able to manage incidents and act as an escalation point to ensure timely resolution of within expectations and SLAs.
• Should effectively manage 3rd party, suppliers, and vendors ensuring the support and commitment is carried out for major incidents and where needed.
• Collates and analyses incident-based data for team metrics and KPIs
• Optimize performance and scalability as necessary to meet business goals.
• Create tools and scripts that help automate deployment.

Skills for Success

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• 5 years in applications management or AWS operations support
• Experience in applications management or infrastructure operations support
• Jenkins, Bamboo, Gitlab, or equivalent experience
• Integration of CI/CD tools (such as into JIRA, programming webhooks)
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
• Extensive knowledge and experience in major incident management, problem management and change management
• Ability to lead, influence and coordinate resources to achieve results
• Autonomous and self-motivated
