Reporting to the Head of Corporate Systems & Services, this executive leadership role is instrumental in advancing Singtel’s vision to become Singapore’s most loved everyday brand.
The role will drive the digital and intelligent transformation of Procurement, Supply Chain, and Logistics through modern platforms, data driven capabilities, and emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and advanced analytics.
As a strategic business partner to Supply Chain and Group Procurement leadership, the Director is accountable for defining and delivering end-to-end platform strategy, roadmap, and execution. This includes demand and portfolio management, cost optimisation, and ensuring resilient, high-performing technology services that create measurable business value. As Platform Lead, the role owns the vision, architecture, and lifecycle of all Procurement and Supply Chain systems.
A key priority is to modernise and simplify the application landscape while accelerating adoption of AI-enabled use cases (e.g., intelligent demand forecasting, predictive supply planning, smart procurement, and automation of operational workflows). The role will also drive the use of data, digital twins, and real-time insights to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes. The Director will champion innovation by leveraging cloud, API ecosystems, automation, and AI/ML capabilities to unlock new business value. This includes improving speed to delivery, strengthening system reliability, and reducing unit costs through platform standardisation and intelligent automation.
In addition, the role leads governance across security, risk, and quality, and ensures strong alignment between business and IT. Success will require building a future-ready workforce, uplifting digital and AI capabilities across teams, and managing strategic vendor and partner ecosystems to deliver best-in-class outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of strategic, technical, and business leadership, with demonstrated experience in driving large-scale transformation and adopting emerging technologies. They will possess the ability to influence senior stakeholders, navigate complex environments, and translate innovation into tangible business outcomes, while exhibiting strong people leadership and a passion for continuous improvement.

Platform Strategy, Transformation & Innovation
- Define and execute the end-to-end platform strategy, roadmap, and operating model for Supply Chain and Source-to-Pay systems.
- Develop capability maps across Supply Chain and Source-to-Pay to guide transformation and investment decisions.
- Lead application rationalisation, modernisation, and platform simplification to improve agility, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, automation, advanced analytics) to enable intelligent supply chains and smart procurement.
- Champion a product-led, customer- and employee-centric mindset to enhance experience, productivity, and value delivery
- Develop and present executive business cases, investment proposals, and strategic papers to drive decision-making
- Challenge existing processes and operating models to unlock innovation and continuous improvement
- Translate complex technology concepts into clear, business-aligned value propositions
Develop and execute system policies, standards, and governance.
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls across security, risk, quality, and delivery
- Own end-to-end service performance, ensuring systems meet or exceed SLAs for reliability, availability, and performance
- Drive adoption of IT Service Management (ITSM) and project delivery best practices across the platform
- Lead demand management, portfolio prioritisation, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) alignment with strategic roadmap
- Execute continuous improvement initiatives to address performance gaps and enhance service quality.
- Optimise total cost of ownership (TCO) and drive sustainable unit cost reduction across platforms and services.
- Manage strategic vendor and partner ecosystem, ensuring strong performance against KPIs and contractual outcomes
Develop Best Practices Solution Design.
- Provide leadership and oversight on solution architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise and domain architecture principles
- Ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable end-to-end solution designs across all initiatives
- Promote and embed industry best practices in system design, engineering, and integration
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and enterprise standards across all deployed solutions
- Guide teams in delivering modular, API-driven, and cloud-native architectures to support future scalability and innovation

- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing, future-ready technology organisation
- Coach and develop teams to be strong technology advocates and trusted partners to the business

- Develop and execute workforce and capability strategies, including upskilling, reskilling, and talent acquisition

Skills for Success
- A least 12 years of relevant experience and at least 3 years in
- an executive management position
- Hands-on experience in SAP HANA, SAP ECC core, and
- Ivalua functionalities, in Supply Chain and Procurement and Logistics and related apps.
- Experience of Transforming end-to-end Supply Chain and Procurement Technologies of Large Organization.
- Experience in supply chain related to Retail,B2C,B2B ,Wholesale and MRO scenarios.
- Experience in large size SAP project management involving Financials, Logistics, Sales, and HR/Payroll
- Experience in leveraging Offshore teams.
- Strong experience in managing multiple business stakeholders and vendors.
- Strong commercial background understanding the cost components involved for IT solutions and delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise business functions with a good appreciation of SAP business Suite functionalities
- Mastery of Software-As-Service solution implementation and management.
- Strong knowledge across Business Risk Management, Cyber Risk Management, Disaster Recovery Management, Enterprise Architecture, IT Governance, IT Standards, IT Strategy, Partnership Management, Performance Management, Quality Standards.
- Technology Transformation: Track record of delivering and driving innovative technology transformation aligned with business expectations.
