As Ops Support Executive, EUC & Svc Desk, the broad area of your job responsibilities will cover the following:
- To provide accessible, timely, effective, efficient and professional quality service to resolve problems and to delight customers.
- Be available to take calls.
- Polite and professional service.
- Prompt response to queries via voicemail / email / fax.
- Accurate assessment/ resolution of problems.
- Provide first level support to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
- Regular updates for follow up actions & problem status.
- Escalation of problems to second level as per work instructions.
- Work to improve processes where applicable.
- Work with Team Lead to feedback and / or improve processes
Ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Diploma or Certification in Information Systems or equivalent discipline
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in similar roles
- Familiar with and troubleshooting the following technologies – Redhat Linux, VMWare, Google Apps, Internet Mail routing protocol- SMTP, DNS, OWA, and Message Transport / Mail Routing
- Possess initiative and disposition with a strong commitment and orientation towards results and quality standards
- Candidate who has relevant working experience with passion for customer service would be preferred
- Customer service orientated and able to handle request and provide solution
- A good team player and proactive in handling users’ enquiries
