The role of the Cloud Automation Operations Engineer is to deliver Automation projects (build, expand, enhance)  on the Networks Cloud infrastructure to automate the operations and processes on the Networks Cloud Infrastructure.

Key Responsibility

Cloud Automation

• Involve in technical planning, implementation and delivery for Cloud Automation projects
• Develop and review test cases for the Automation projects
• Perform system and service testing to roll-out new related Projects.
• Responsible for supporting the daily operation of Automation system.
• Automation System and Patch loading, implementation of software and hardware upgrades
• Develop playbook and scripts to automate operational processes to improve operational efficiency
• May need to work outside normal working hours to carry out upgrades and patch loading as such activities may disrupt services.

Qualifications

A good engineering or computing degree

Experience

At least 2 years of working experience developing Automation scripts to improve processes.  

To have good working knowledge of Automation tools, eg  Ansible.

Technical / Professional Skills

• Basic knowledge on Linux Operating System
• Good knowledge in Programming, Eg Python, Bash etc.
