Engineer, Storage and Backup (Contract)

Key Responsibilities: 

• Analysing, troubleshooting and correcting system problems remotely and on-site
• Documenting incident RCA report the configuration of the system and system performance tuning
• Security compliance, patching, health check & hardening remediation
• Perform routine audits of systems and software as well as system devices backups
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of server backups
• Perform storage maintenance and troubleshooting 
• Perform standard or project change request as per change window
• Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes
• To support 24x7 when necessary. 

Requirements: 

• Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent with 2- 3 years of IT operation and maintenance support experience
• Ability to analyze and solve problems independently
• Added advantage if possess experience in hands on configuration, administration and troubleshooting of WINTEL system, Virtualisation system (Hyper V), enterprise application and cloud solution such as Office365
• Experience in
  • managing on premises exchange, active directory and, 
  • understanding storage connection, LUN provisioning as well as Middleware Protocol. 
• Ability to self-learn, acquire new skills and support new systems and applications
• Highly motivated, good team player who is also able to perform well independently
