In this role, you will be responsible for Radio Network Optimization scope. You will monitor the health status of Radio Network and identify operational issues or sudden degradation of KPIs in timely manner via performance management and fault management platforms. Standard procedures are to be follow strictly in the escalation process upon issues detected as this will ensure the network healthiness, and allow subscribers to enjoy the Mobile Network Services offered by Singtel all day long. You will also be required to be on standby during Special Events to ensure the network performance is healthy throughout the events.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Carry out Radio Network performance monitoring for WCDMA (3G), LTE (FDD & TDD) (4G) and NR (5G) on daily basis
  • Identify worst performing cells caused by operational issues and troubleshoot to bring the Radio Network services in timely manner
  • Daily monitoring and tracking of radio network statistics and performance, by using performance statistics, fault management and OSS platforms
  • Carry out monitoring of the performance / node stability of the Planned Activities such as software upgrades / patches
  • Execute parameter changes on RNC / base station and Change Request as per required
  • Conduct event / logs engineering analysis to troubleshoot underlying network issues
  • Provide technical support to Customer Resolution team on mobile customer complaints
  • Responsible for special events standby

 

The ideal candidate should have/ be: 

  • Relevant Diploma quaifications and preferably 1 to 2 years’ experience in similar industry
  • Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills
  • Must be a team player who can also work independently, possess self-initiative and fast learner
  • Able to handle routine and extra workload, complete assigned and additional tasks and meet quantitative targets.
  • Knowledge of End to End Mobile RAN / CORE Network Architecture.  
  • Class 3 driving license.
