<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsibilities

 

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Lead in the planning and project management of new or existing mobile core network, including technology selection, capacity planning, service rollout and service performance improvement, etc.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Work with stakeholders in Product Development, Marketing and Engineering in the requirements compilation and clarification, and lead in discussions on new emerging technologies.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Perform technical and financial feasibility studies on potential Mobile technologies and services.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Lead in preparation of tender specifications, evaluation of tender from both a technical and commercial standpoint, and project manage the implementation of mobile core systems.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Plan the near- and long-term network architecture and capacity needs.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Engage in commercial and technical negotiation with existing and potential vendors.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Engage regional counterparts to identify and realize cost and operational synergies.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Manage vendor(s) during the project implementation
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

 

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Requirements

 

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Degree in Engineering majoring in Computer Science, IP networking or telecommunications/mobile communication.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Working experience in computer networking or the telecommunications industry, especially in the role of project coordinator/project manager. Preference will be given to candidates with project management certifications such as CAPM, PMP, CITPM. Fresh Graduate without working experience will also be considered.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Knowledge of telecommunications technologies, including 3G, HSPA, LTE and 5G. Knowledge on IP and Mobile Data as well as value-added services such as mobile charging solutions including the postpaid and prepaid, short-messaging service, mobile applications is an advantage.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Basic technical knowledge of computer networking, including knowledge of hardware, protocols, and internet standards.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written English.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Basic understanding of legal contracts.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Basic financial knowledge of project procurement, including capital and operational expenditures.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Good interpersonal skills and be able to be both a leader and a team player across different groups and levels.
