The Networks Cloud is a Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVI) built on VMware, Openstack and Kubernetes, complemented by Datacenter Software Defined Networking (DC-SDN) and automation tools such as Ansible. As a Cloud Planner for Networking and Cybersecurity, your responsibility is to plan and manage the lifecycle of the Networking and Cybersecurity elements as well as to ensure the compliance to Cybersecurity policies within the NFVI.


 Key Responsibilities & Key Result Areas (Please include KPIs)

  • Lifecycle Management of the Networking & Cybersecurity elements within the NFVI
  • Plan and manage the lifecycle of networking equipment such as Routers & Firewalls to ensure that capacity is able to meet the demands of the NFVI and the services which it hosts
  • Plan and manage the lifecycle of the Cybersecurity equipment within the NFVI such as the VPN Server, Privilege Identity Access Management, Network Detection and Response, to meet Cybersecurity compliance
  • Plan and design the infrastructure networks to ensure robustness, resiliency and security in its implementation
  • Plan the roadmap for Network and Cybersecurity elements within the NFVI to continuously improve Cybersecurity posture
  • Governance of Cybersecurity compliance within the NFVI to track and ensure compliance to Cybersecurity policies
  • Project Management
  • Running of Tenders with the support of the Procurement team. This would include the preparations of technical specifications, technical and commercial evaluation and Statement of Works.
  • Manage Project Delivery within the allocated budget, resources and timeline.
  • Service Transition to ensure Project is handed over to Service Operations.

 

Qualifications   

 •    Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Engineering  

 •    Knowledge on networking, cybersecurity, virtualization, Cloud computing


Experience        

•    3 years working experience on projects relating networking and cybersecurity


Technical / Professional Skills  

 •    Certification in CCNA 
•    Knowledge on Cybersecurity
•    Basic knowledge on Cloud and virtualization    •    Certification in CISSP
•    Certification in CCNP and/or CCIE (or equivalent)
•    Project Management Professional
