Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and provide support to maintain the enterprise voice infrastructure (VoIP), including network design, capacity, monitoring, and patch management.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive coverage expansion, quality, and security for the various enterprise voice platform, such as Zoom services, Microsoft Operator Connect, Direct Routing, etc.
  • Provide technical support to Product/Account/Solution Managers for pre-sales and post-sales of various enterprise voice platform.
  • Plan, deploy, and coordinate the engineering specifications & deployment with partners for the bilateral infra set up via Landline.
  • Provide technical support to Product/Account/Solution Managers for pre-sales and post-sales of bilateral ILC/Eline service of this infra set up.
  • Responsible for the global & bilateral capacity (subsea & landline) assignments & records management.

 

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Electrical & Electronics, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in voice engineering role or in the communications industry with a Telco / Managed Service Provider environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge in SIP protocol, and VoIP technologies. Familiar with vitalized systems and firewall is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Zoom will be an advantage.
  • Have the knowledge and hands-on experience in the planning, implementation roll-out, acceptance test in live network for Layer 0 on dark fibre and DWDM.
  • Experience in developing, managing and evaluating the technical and commercial aspects of RFP / Tender specifications for system solution.
  • Keen interest in optical network and voice technology development and industry trend.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, confident in dealing with various external and internal stakeholders with a customer-focused attitude
  • Able to work independently, play a hands-on role and adapt in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Project Management

 

Preferred:

  • Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, Voice) certifications
  • Optical Transport Network training/certifications
  • Candidates who currently attached in ICT/Telco industries that handling the similar capacity area.
  • Skills and/or experience in escalation management, advanced problem solving & documentation.
