The Events Operations Manager leads the execution of roadshows and outreach events, manages a team of Direct Sales Executives, and drives performance through coaching, site optimization, and disciplined operational control. The Manager partners closely with sales support, marketing, product and external partners to ensure compliant, high-quality customer acquisition and a strong on-ground customer experience.

1) Event planning and execution
- Plan and execute roadshows and outreach events end-to-end (site selection, set-up, staffing, daily runbook and teardown).
- Evaluate site effectiveness and optimise manpower deployment, scripts and customer journey to improve conversion.
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams to align event messaging, promotions, collateral and device readiness.
- Liaise with external partners (e.g., mall management, vendors, relocation partners) to ensure smooth operations.
2) Team leadership and coaching
- Lead, train and coach Direct Sales Executives on effective pitch, product knowledge and service behaviors.
- Set daily targets, monitor performance, run daily huddles and conduct on-the-job coaching to close gaps quickly.
- Plan team roster to maximize site potential while ensuring adequate coverage and staff welfare.
- Support onboarding of new team members and run refresher training when campaigns or policies change.
3) Performance management and reporting
- Track event KPIs (e.g., gross adds, recon, attachments, conversion) and provide weekly insights on performance drivers.
- Consolidate team results and ground feedback; prepare concise performance reports and recommendations to management.
- Track basic event ROI and propose test-and-learn adjustments to improve productivity and cost effectiveness.
- Drive digital adoption by coaching teams to use CRM/sales tracking tools and maintain accurate data capture.
4) Operations control, compliance and service recovery
- Work with sales support to resolve pending issues, manage rejected orders, and re-submit with accurate information.
- Review weekly sales records for system accuracy and follow up on exceptions to prevent revenue leakage.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, roadshow requirements and responsible selling standards.
- Handle customer escalations on-site and coordinate service recovery actions within approval limits.
Skills for Success
- Qualification with O Levels or above.
- At least 2 years of Sales Experience
