As the Executive, Inside Sales, you will provide support to the CSU sales teams for tender or proposal submission request within specific tender closing timeline. Beyond helping to source for new sales opportunities by understanding customers’ needs and requirements, you will also support the sales team by partnering with the other business functions to work out pricing matters and strategies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage non-bulk tender deals that are less than $100k, equivalent to approximately $3mil in a year
  • Manage all bulk tender deals in hardware, software and maintenance, equivalent to approximately $27mil in a year
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to build pipeline and generate new sales opportunities within the account
  • Partner LOBs to work out and compile pricing based on customers’ requirements
  • Engage and interact with customers on tender clarifications
  • Secure necessary approvals based on NCS’ processes and meet tender submission deadlines by customers
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and emails
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Route qualified larger opportunities to the appropriate sales account managers for further development and closure
  • Assists sales team with paperwork to close off on opportunities
  • Prepare sales quotations for submission

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma with at least 2-3 years relevant experience
  • Fresh graduates with keen interest in ICT and sales may also apply
  • Working experience in ICT industry in sales business operations support is an added advantage.
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Experience working with CRM tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong stakeholder management to interact with external customers and internal colleagues
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
