The Finance Executive – Commission is responsible for providing high-quality analytical, financial, and operational support to the offshore Finance Manager and the onshore Commercial Manager. The role focuses on delivering service excellence across commission analysis, calculations, financial modelling, commercial insights, assurance support, and process improvement.
The role acts as an analytical partner, supporting timely decision-making, financial control, and execution of commission and incentive processes, while strategic ownership and accountability remain with the team.
Make an Impact by
- Supporting commission analysis, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting activities across multiple products and channels to ensure accurate and timely commission processing.
- Preparing commission budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analysis to support commercial and business decision-making
- Performing validation checks, analysing commission discrepancies, aged accruals, clawbacks, and payment variances, while supporting issue resolution and control reviews
- Preparing recurring reports, dashboards, and commercial analysis to provide insights on channel performance, cost of acquisition, retention costs, and customer profitability
- Supporting audits, reconciliations, governance reviews, and maintenance of documentation to ensure compliance, accuracy, and audit readiness
- Driving process improvement initiatives through automation, standardisation, and adoption of new tools and systems to enhance operational efficiency and scalability
- Supporting project implementation, testing, process transitions, and stabilisation activities to ensure smooth operational delivery
- Collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality financial and commercial support
- Performing any other duties as assigned by management to support evolving business needs
Skills for Success
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial management, finance, or strategy roles, with accountability for commercial outcomes, governance, and decision support in fast-paced, data-driven, and competitive environments
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and commercial analysis, with hands-on experience using tools such as Excel, SAP, TM1, Tableau, or Power BI to deliver actionable business insights
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and support executive decision-making through strong commercial judgement, strategic thinking, and clear, data-driven recommendations in complex and ambiguous situations
- Solid understanding of commercial drivers, financial governance, risk management, and operational trade-offs within cross-functional and multi-stakeholder environments
- Excellent communicator and collaborative partner with strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, prioritisation, and continuous improvement skills
Good to Have
- Experience in telecommunications or other high-volume, multi-channel commercial environments
- Experience supporting process improvement, automation, or transformation initiatives in finance or commercial operations
- Understanding of governance, compliance, and risk management in commercial or financial settings
- Familiar with commission operations, channel performance analysis, or customer profitability reporting
