Finance Executive

Reporting to the Finance Manager(s), you will be handling the monthly closing of NCS companies and ensuring true and fair reporting and timely preparation of financial statements and reports, to meet both management and statutory reporting requirements.  


You are responsible for working alongside Finance Manager(s) or independently to implement changes to processes/operations and be involved in financial reporting systems improvements projects, including robotic processing automation.  You will play an important role to provide direct support and coordinate with business units in reviewing and enhancing operational policies and procedures, implementation of internal controls, setting up of processes for new initiatives as well as providing detailed financial analysis.  Other reporting requirements include governance and reporting matters over inventories, and any other ad hoc financial reporting matters.  You will be responsible for liaison with auditors and tax consultants on audit and tax planning/compliance.


Some of the key work scope of the role includes:

  • Prepare and perform monthly financial analysis, including presenting and providing explanations on variances and ensure that irregularities are adjusted and addressed promptly before month-end close.
  • Ensure company accounting policies, procedures and processes for financial reporting are duly executed and adhered to.
  • Independently prepare and perform journal entries in SAP.
  • Review balance sheet schedules and highlight long outstanding balances and other irregularities to process owners for resolutions.
  • Assist Finance Manager to implement changes to financial accounting/governance processes, including automation.
  • Assist Finance Manager with preparation of reporting to management. 
  • Review NCS group of companies corporate income tax, including GST and other taxes and ensure compliance issues are highlighted and addressed.
  • Provide support to ensure external and internal auditors' queries and concerns are satisfactorily addressed.
  • Prepare audited financial statements.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks and duties that may be assigned.



  • Diploma in Accounting with at least 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Work experience in MNC and listed companies preferred
  • Good working knowledge of SAP
  • Proactive and result oriented
