As a Finance Manager (Financial Planning & Analysis), you will be reporting to Senior Finance Manager and this role will partner with Business Leaders to support the financial functions of Service Organisation, provide advisory and consultative support to Service Organisation business units on key financial metrics and contribute towards strategic business planning and profitability enhancement. 

 

What will you do? 

Financial Planning and Reporting 

  • Partnering with Business Leaders (Service Organisation Leads and Business Directors) to support the FP&A function and providing advisory to operational matters in relation to financial planning, reporting, and analysis. 

  • Being responsible for monthly management reporting of the actuals and providing analysis on the performance of the Service Organisation Biz Business Unit, including explaining the variances against budget, forecast, and prior year. 

  • Partnering with respective Service Organisation Business Leaders in formulating the annual budgets.  

  • Managing the Budget and Forecast of the business unit, including working with Business Leaders to ensure accuracy of the monthly forecast. 

 

Stakeholder Management 

  • Managing key stakeholders’ expectations on financial matters within the Service Organisation and ensuring timely communication to Business Leaders on financial issues with clear analysis and reports on relevant operating and financial metrics. 

 

Cost Efficiency and Process Improvement 

  • Evaluate cost efficiencies of delivery functions and provide financial analysis to Business and Finance Leaders to highlight areas of potential risks and upsides. 

  • Building, implementing, and tracking cost savings initiatives for the Service Organisation. 

  • Streamlining, standardizing, and recommending new or improved financial processes for better efficiency and effectiveness in delivering key financial metrics and analysis to Business and Finance Leaders. Engaging in digitalisation and automation activities to facilitate financial reporting improvements. 

 

The ideal candidate should possess: 

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and management reporting, with business partnering experience 

  • ACCA/CA Professional Certification (added advantage) 

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills 

  • Strong leadership skills and high motivation to overcome challenges 

  • Ability to act as change agent for the company 

  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadline 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Good basic understanding of accounting standards 

  • Good working knowledge of SAP software will have an added advantage 

  • Knowledge in automation skills, e.g. Power automate, Macros, etc will have an added advantage 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
