Finance Manager (Financial System & Improvements)

  • Work with IT to maintain finance system authorization access set up (e.g. Access rights, controls and segregation of duties
  • Work with finance users to understand requirements on management reporting adjustments and customized Business Warehouse reports (BO Hybrid) and with IT to build the technical competency to meet those needs. Need to support roll-out and adoption of change too
  • Drive and support on-going system training for finance users
  • Lead in updating and documenting of finance process flow, procedures and user guide
  • Coordinate the purchase of annual Think-cell license for finance teams
  • Work closely with Group FP team on Annual Operating Plan/ forecast timeline and be the point of contact to support issues between stakeholders and IT
  • Maintain a positive relationship with IT team to ensure issues are promptly identified and resolved with minimal business impact
  • Lead in finance systems transformation initiatives as and when they arise
  • Other projects as assigned


The Ideal Candidate


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/ IT with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in SAP is key
  • Good grasp of accounting concepts
  • Experience in SAP finance system support
  • Forward looking, proactive and persevering in order to press ahead to introduce new tools and applications to bring about improvements to the Finance community, amidst competing demands for time and resources;
  • Meticulous, strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to handle numerous time-critical assignments simultaneously with sense of urgency and ability to prioritize work;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word
