The Finance Manager - Commission is responsible to lead a team of small team to deliver high quality analytical, financial, and operational support across Internal and External commissions and incentive schemes. The role focuses on service delivery excellence across commission analysis, calculations, financial modelling, commercial insights, assurance support, and process optimisation.
The position operates as a trusted analytical partner, enabling timely decision making, strong financial control, and effective execution of commission and incentive processes, while strategic ownership and stakeholder accountability remain with the onshore team.
Make an Impact by
- Lead commission governance and financial performance activities including budgeting, forecasting, accrual management, variance analysis, and month-end reporting across channels and product lines
- Deliver commercial insights and financial analysis to support decision-making on commission plans, channel strategies, customer profitability, and business performance outcomes
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of commission calculations, reconciliations, controls, and audit readiness while minimising financial risk and operational discrepancies
- Manage commission systems, data validation, and reporting processes to maintain reliable financial information, process documentation, and operational consistency
- Drive offshore service delivery excellence through SLA management, process standardisation, automation initiatives, and operational optimisation
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Payroll, HR, and operational stakeholders to resolve commission-related queries, provide reporting insights, and support business priorities
- Support continuous improvement, system enhancements, and transformation initiatives by contributing to process automation, testing activities, and scalable reporting solutions
Skills for Success
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
- At least 7 years of experience in commercial management, Finance or strategy roles, with accountability for commercial outcomes, governance, and decision support in fast‑paced, data‑driven, and competitive environments\
- Strong capability in financial modelling, forecasting, commercial analysis, and enterprise systems such as SAP, TM1, Tableau, or Power BI to generate actionable business insights
- Proven ability to influence executive decision-making through commercial judgement, strategic analysis, and clear recommendations in complex and ambiguous business environments
- Strong understanding of commercial drivers, financial governance, risk management, and operational trade-offs across multi-stakeholder and cross-functional business settings
- Effective communicator and collaborative leader with strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, prioritisation, and continuous improvement capabilities across onshore and offshore teams
Good to Have
- Experience in telecommunications or other high-volume, multi-channel commercial environments
- Ability to support process redesign, automation, and transformation initiatives across finance or commercial operations
- Ability to support governance, compliance, and risk management activities within commercial or financial operations
- Familiarity with commission operations, channel performance analysis, or customer profitability reporting
