As Finance Manager for the Global Business Services (GBS) unit, you will partner closely with GBS leadership to strengthen financial governance and enhance performance management across the shared services centre. Working in collaboration with the financial reporting team, you will develop GBS‑specific financial insights, including management accounts, budgeting, and performance tracking, to support sound operational and strategic decision‑making.

- Performance Management and Reporting:

- Prepare GBS unit management accounts to provide a clear view of the unit’s operational and financial performance.
- Lead the annual budgeting and periodic review cycles for all service delivery towers within GBS.
- Perform monthly variance analysis against budget, identify key drivers and provide actionable commentary.
- Maintain performance tracking frameworks to monitor GBS cost efficiency and productivity trends.
- Track performance of GBS transformation initiatives against approved investment cases.
- Prepare executive dashboards for monthly business reviews.
- Service Level Tracking:
- Maintain service pricing model, ensure methodology is well-documented and communicated to internal stakeholders.
- Participate in service level reviews with internal stakeholders, providing financial analysis to support cost and performance review.
- Support Strategic Decision Making:
- Act as business partner to GBS leadership, providing financial analysis, scenario modelling and investment case support to inform key decisions.
Skills for Success:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting operations, or shared services environments
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and reporting tools
- Self-starter with ability to work independently to provide support to senior management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Strong coordination skills to work across multiple stakeholders and business units
- Adaptability in navigating evolving processes, systems, and organisational priorities
- Experience in a shared services or multinational environment
- Exposure to process transformation, automation, or system implementation projects is an advantage
