The Finance Manager serves as the finance business partner and subject matter expert to Small & Medium Business (SMB) Segment teams. The manager will lead consolidation of SMB financial performance across Fixed, Mobile and Channel Sales. The manager will partner the business to deliver segment growth and profitability objectives.

 

Make an Impact by

 

  • Consolidate financial performance for actual, forecast and budgeted revenue and costs from SMB Fixed, SMB Mobile and SMB Channels Sales and be the point of contact for SMB Segment finance matters and support to SMB Head
  • Perform monthly closing and business partnering support for SMB Channel Sales and SME Segment – Fixed Services across a range of products & services ie. Domestic data, Telephony, Managed network services, Technology solutions).
  • Review and monitor monthly financial performance vs budget and/or forecast, understand and monitor business drivers, plus call out variance for prompt business actions for SMB Channel Sales and SMB Segment – Fixed Services.
  • Drive quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting exercises for SMB Channel Sales and SMB Segment – Fixed Services. Challenge the drivers assumptions in the financial model to achieve a reasonable yet progressive projection.
  • Provide strategic and operational advisory support relating to SMB Channel Sales, SME Segment – Fixed Services, including capital investments, new product/service offerings etc
  • Evaluate regularly the tactical offers for promotions to counter competitive offers or to drive higher take-ups / lower terminations.
  • Review business cases and develop financial models to assess the financial feasibility of Capex and business proposals including measures such as ROIC and NPV

 

Skills for Success

 

  • A University degree in Accountancy with at least 5 years of accounting and finance experience.
  • Meticulous, detail oriented, strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience with accounting IT systems
  • Stakeholder management
  • Good communications and written skills
