Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with Business Leaders (Client Service Unit Leads) to support the FP&A function and providing financial analysis support to the Finance lead for the Strategic Business Unit
  • Responsible for monthly management reporting of the actual and providing the analysis on the performance of the CSU/ LOB, including explaining the variances against budget, forecast, and prior year. 
  • Managing the forecast for the CSU/ LOB assigned, including working with each respective CSLs / CFMs to ensure accuracy of the monthly forecast.
  • Managing key stakeholders’ expectations on all financial matters within the CSU and ensuring regular and timely communication on financial matters and present analyses and reports on relevant operating and financial metrics in an easy-to-understand format to senior business leaders.
  • Partnering with the respective CSU Leads in formulating the annual budgets.
  • Developing of detailed financial models and business case for projects/ initiatives for the CSU and providing management with meaningful financial information for strategic and operational decision making.
  • Building, implementing and tracking of cost savings initiatives for the CSU.
  • Review, streamline, standardize and recommend new or improvements to processes or systems to enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, compliance and controls.
  • Any other tasks assigned.


The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Professional certification (ACCA/ CA) is a plus
  • Minimum 4-6 years of relevant working experience in audit and accounting
  • Relevant experience in financial analysis and management reporting .
  • Advanced proficiency in MS applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good basic understanding of accounting standards
  • Good working knowledge of SAP and data visualisation (Tableau) software will be an advantage
  • Understand the new accounting standards on revenue recognition, and capitalisation.
