How You will Make An Impact:
The Global Process Owner (GPO) is the single end-to-end accountable leader for the global processes across Singtel Group, covering OpCos supported by GBS. The role establishes how processes are designed, governed, measured, and continuously improved, regardless of where the work is executed or which team performs it. The GPO drives global standardisation, performance, compliance, and transformation across billing and invoicing, accounts receivable, credit management, collections, dispute management, and cash application to enable strong cash flow, robust controls, and scalable growth. The role works closely with Sales, especially the Enterprise Segment, Order Management, and Finance teams to strengthen upstream order quality, ensure clean and timely handoffs into billing, align commercial, operational, and accounting requirements, and ensure accurate and complete information is captured for billing, revenue recognition, accounting, reporting, and controls. By doing so, the role reduces billing defects, disputes, revenue leakage, accounting rework, and customer experience issues.
1. Enterprise Process Ownership
Own and govern the enterprise-wide GBS process architecture across all end-to-end business processes. Establish process design principles, operating models, governance, and accountability to ensure consistent execution across all supported Operating Companies (OpCos).
2. Global Standardisation, Policy and Controls Governance
Develop and maintain enterprise-wide process standards, governance frameworks, policies, controls, and minimum data standards to drive consistency, compliance, operational excellence, and scalability across the GBS operating model.
3. Performance Management and KPI Framework
Establish and govern an enterprise process performance framework, including KPIs, SLAs, productivity, quality, customer experience, compliance, and operational metrics. Provide benchmarking, performance insights, and recommendations to support continuous improvement and executive decision-making.
4. Continuous Improvement and Transformation
Lead enterprise-wide process transformation initiatives leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, automation, AI, analytics, and digital technologies. Develop business cases, prioritise improvement opportunities, and track benefits realisation across GBS.
5. Digital and Technology Enablement
Partner with IT, Digital, functional leaders, and OpCos to ensure enterprise platforms and digital capabilities support standardised global processes, future operating models, and business transformation objectives.
6. Stakeholder and Governance Leadership
Chair enterprise process governance forums and influence senior stakeholders across Group Functions, GBS Operations, OpCos, IT, Digital, Risk, HR, Procurement, and Finance to drive alignment and adoption without direct line authority.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with functional process owners, business leaders, and GBS Operations to harmonise processes, resolve cross-functional issues, identify optimisation opportunities, and drive enterprise-wide operational excellence.
Skills for Success:
- Successful performance in this role requires the ability to operate as an enterprise-wide process leader rather than a functional delivery manager. The role holder must combine deep O2C expertise, strong Finance and accounting awareness, commercial understanding, and the ability to influence Sales, Order Management, Finance, IT, Risk, GBS Operations, and service delivery teams to deliver consistent process outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualification is preferred, given the role’s accountability for billing accuracy, revenue recognition alignment, accounting completeness, reporting integrity, and control effectiveness.
- Minimum 15 years of Finance, shared services, or enterprise operations experience, with deep O2C expertise, strong understanding of sales-to-order-to-bill-to-accounting processes, and proven experience in ERP, digital transformation, process governance, stakeholder management, and cross-functional change leadership.
