Group Property- Manager, Development

The Manager will be responsible for the project development and management of new building projects and renovation works for Singtel’s premises.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out feasibility studies for new building projects and fit-out works for Singtel premises and workplaces.
  • Prepare project scope and scope of services to procure and appoint project consultants and contractors to execute the project.
  • Develop project implementation plan, project schedules and development budget estimates. Track and update project expenses and milestone deliveries throughout the project duration.
  • Work with consultants and contractors to design, plan and implement the project to ensure that the vision and objectives for the project are achieved.
  • Review plans and designs to ensure that the proposals meet project objectives and ensure efficient use of space and achieve design goals.
  • Serve as owner’s representative in developing and reviewing documents and contracts with consultants and contractors and to recommend changes if necessary. 
  • Monitor the project progress and ensure that quality standards are achieved while costs remain under budget and critical deadlines are met.
  • Provide regular reports to management and stakeholders on the project progress.
  • Review and respond accordingly to any request for information and change orders throughout the project.
  • Maintain good records and documentation of the project.
  • Review invoices against actual work performed and ensure that costs are within budget and approved contract amount.
  • Develop final punch list items and coordinate all project close‐out efforts with project team through final completion.


       The ideal candidate should have/ be:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Degree in Architecture, Building/ Construction Management or related fields, with Project Management experience a plus.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in real estate, construction, architecture or related fields.
  • Familiar with local planning, building, fire, energy and barrier codes, including submissions processes, etc.
  • Proficient in Windows Operations Systems (Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Project, etc.), AutoCAD and BIM.
  • Able to effectively prioritize, meet deadlines and multi-task
  • Highly motivated, excels under pressure and remain calm at all times
  • Reliable, focused and with an attention to details
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and with stakeholders
  • Be prepared to take on other roles and responsibilities which may be assigned from time to time
  • Strong verbal communication, written and presentation skills.
