Make an Impact by:

The candidate will contribute within the Automation Team, providing coding support for Puppet migration activity, module generation and the delivery of new automation initiatives. In collaboration with application and infrastructure teams, the role-holder will onboard both legacy and new infrastructure into our IaaC environment. There will be significant project work, involving new initiatives and new use cases for Puppet.

1. Gather requirements and assess existing configuration mechanisms for applications, platforms and security.
2. Contribute to Puppet module coding activity (Ruby) in order to bolster the team’s Puppet Infrastructure as Code capability.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in mainstream operating systems and platforms (Windows/Linux).
• Coding experience with awareness of CI/CD pipelines.
• Windows Powershell
• Unix Shell Scripting
• Ruby
• Cloud (Azure/AWS)
