As Infra Engr, Infra Arch & Svc Mgt, the broad area of your job responsibilities will cover the following:
- Gather business and/or application requirements on the infrastructure to plan, design, install, test & implement systems in accordance with the specifications & service level.
- Liaise with customer on implementation timeline and requirement;
- Aligned or enhanced ITSM/ITIL methodologies in daily operations e.g. Change, Incident, problem, release management & CMDB.
- Monitor & measure the performance & availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & service level availability.
- Respond promptly to incident, root cause analysis & provide temporary and/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties. Perform timely escalation if required
- Install, configure and test the monitoring tools;
- Perform level 2 and 3 technical support for products
- Troubleshoot and provide product support to both Managed Services and System Implementation customers
- Perform acceptance test and conduct product training;
- Implement service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures & disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.
- Define operation procedures for day to day operations of management tools.
Ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Degree / Diploma or Certification in Information Systems or equivalent discipline
- 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in similar roles in enterprise monitoring would be preferred
- Work with and/or lead a team of engineers/consultants to deliver our contractual obligations in the projects
- Certification in CA UIM, CA Spectrum or other monitoring tools
- Pick up domain knowledge and competency in the relevant key software products used in the projects, and scripting/coding for automation
- Ensure that deliverables are achieved on time and of good quality
- Provide support on issues and deployment or maintenance exercises (during and/or after office hours)
- Work with junior team members on project assessment, planning and implementation
