Infra Engr, Infra Hybrid IT

Responsibilities:

• As part of team to provide operation support including tech refresh for various Unix platforms such as HPUX/Solaris/Linux.
• Server OS Administration tasks (ensure good server health & availability, OS Patch implementation, Capacity Planning and Upgrade, System performance tuning when necessary, etc)
• Ensure that all Unix server and SR SLAs are met
• Backup and Recovery
• Provide application support on server-related issues
• Facilitate administration of Middleware
• Facilitate apps code deployment (during and/or after office hours)
• Project Assessment, Planning and Implementation

Requirements

• Competency in HP-UX, Solaris10/11 & above, RHEL 6 & above
• 3 - 5 years of experience in the following: 
• Middleware like Weblogic 8.x & above, iPlanet 6.0 & above, Oracle middleware, etc
• Backup software like Symantec NetBackup and Data Protector
• Storage like Netapp and HP 3PAR
• Possess strong technical and analytical skills
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently and promptly
• Able to assess technical impact of problem quickly
