Responsibilities:

• To lead in the definition and development of solution, architecture, design, requirements, and specifications for the Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) that exposes network capabilities to Consumer and Enterprise businesses, enabling them to capture new values in network programmability.
• Get exposure and experience with the latest 5G technologies and modern software environment and design such as microservices, cloud-native and CI/CD. 
• Need to focus on end-to-end service orchestration and service assurance. Will participate in the tender and delivery of the orchestration related solutions/platforms.
• Need to align architecture and requirements/specifications within Singtel and with regional telco associates.
• Work in an environment where large complex legacy physical infra/function and virtualised infra/function co-exist. 
• Expected to travel regional telcos from time-to-time
• Needs to have well developed problem-solving capability, strategic thinking and extensive experience in telecommunication network and IT related architecture and software development.
• Have to demonstrate that they can manage vendors and different stakeholders to deliver against demanding milestones.
• Will have a good combination of knowledge of key enterprise architecture principles, deep technical understanding, combined with understanding of business and organisational needs.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering   
• 10+ years’ experience in the field of IT/telecommunication and software related development  
• Knowledge of telecom network architecture and operations
• Development of large-scale software, in particular in the Solution/Architect role
• Understand the overall telecom environment – BSS/OSS, telco services, and their challenges
• Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders, in particular at Director and VP level
• To Managed technical teams
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skill, working independently is essential
