Be a Part of Something BIG! 

The Singtel Rewards and Well-being sits within the larger Group People & Sustainability department. The Well-being team looks after all aspects of employee health and wellness through different programs, initiatives and events. Our health and well-being internship aims to teach our interns the following:

  • Apply health management learnings to plan and implement programs for a diverse group of employees
  • Learnings to be applied span Singtel’s BIG Well-Being pillars: Mental, Physical, Diversity, Equity Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB), Financial, Professional and Personal and Purpose  
  • Build relational skills and teamwork with cross-functional members, and presentation skills for various project involvement.
  • Gain exposure to some HR benefits work e.g. medical benefits, company awards applications and leave management/claims.

Make an Impact

  • Plan and prepare eDM communications for employee awareness as necessary (e.g. to highlight new changes, upcoming events and quarterly newsletters)  
  • Support in well-being initiatives, programs and/or policy implementation
  • Logistical support for events, e.g. Virtual or in-person webinar hosting and support, Annual Singtel Group Learning FiestaRace Against CancerWorld Mental Health DayOn-site well-being events
  • Track utilisation and participation statistics across various channels of communication and events
  • Work with well-being team to enhance benefits/well-being pages on intranet and contribute to policy changes where necessary
  • Review to-date research completed by previous interns and supplement with any new insights for our well-being programs and propose suitable interventions for implementation
  • Work alongside the well-being team in applying for various company awards through submission papers
  • Participate and minute any/all meetings as necessary
  • Assist in any events department/team wide as necessary

 

Skills for Succes

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma in Human Resources
  • Experience in content creation tools eg. Canva, video-editing software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Good communication skills
