International Group - Head, Digital Entertainment

The position holder will lead, shape and partner with our regional associates (AIS, Airtel, Telkmosel and Globe) and Singtel & Optus to develop and implement capabilities, platforms, strategies and campaigns to drive digital entertainment business focusing on gaming to drive scalable business outcomes for the Group

  • Take on senior management role of created independent gaming entity (when approved by Singtel MC ) and subjected to the Board of directors of gaming entity approval to build, grow and scale the gaming business
  • Drive effective content distribution & sales strategies and approaches to increase monetization opportunities such as distribution of games and other content
  • Explore new types of content to be scaled across the associates to drive acquisition, reduce churn and increase average revenue per user, and explore collaboration options to generate original content and secure exclusive partnerships for the Group



  • Potentially take on senior management role to develop, grow and scale the gaming entity in advertising, distribution and content to drive value creation for the operating companies of Singtel Group, and if relevant, other investors or partners 
    • Build, grow and scale up our gaming distribution business to build a sustainable and growing community across India, ASEAN and Australia to monetize through distribution, advertising and cloud gaming provision
    • Responsible for partnering with IT to build up the community and content websites and apps for all the core gamers, starting with games store and portal in FY 20
    • Responsible for partnering with marketing to drive the necessary customer acquisitions to download games and sustain a growing thriving community of gamers
    • Partner with IG Strategy & Insights leaders to seek capital injection as needed from regional associates and other strategic investors
  • Partner with regional associates, Singtel and Optus  to design, develop and implement sustainable business solutions to
    • Develop and drive existing and new content distribution and sales
      • Explore ways to build and sustain additional monetization streams leveraging the associates by distributing content such as games, and other types of digital content such as short-form content
    • Scale new forms of content throughout the associates
      • Explore new types of digital content such as short form content and others that would be scalable and cost effective which would allow associates to differentiate themselves and drive incremental business outcomes
      • Partner with content production entities that can bring impactful original content to the Group that will drive growth in acquisition, reduce churn and revenue per user


The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • Bachelor Degree of Commerce/ Engineering
  • At least 15 years of work experience and 5 years in Games  or related industry
  • Senior managerial experience and must have led a gaming, content sales, production or product group
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Proven collaboration attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enterprising and entrepreneurial
  • P&L experiences
  • Expertise in Gaming and/or Digital Content
