About the role,


We're looking for a seasoned Key Account Manager to join our fun and hardworking, retail sales team. You will be accountable for the entire end-to-end, involving finding opportunities in accounts, managing internal and external contacts, negotiating, and closing promotional plans, through to the overall success and growth of our mass market!


What’s mass market at amaysim you ask? You will be managing the customer conversion through our existing retailer (and one of Australia’s biggest at that!) Additionally, securing new retail partners and business development.


What will you be doing?
 

  • Lead key relationships with Mass Market retailers and drive growth/ sales
  • Conduct monthly account reviews and minor and major range reviews
  • Develop and implement new opportunities/promotional plans with the accounts to reach new customers and drive new revenue for the amaysim brand
  • Gain insights from data analytics of amaysim’s performance in retailers via supplier portals including competitor information and provide professional recommendations
  • Be commercially astute in forecasting and planning for performance and promotional activity as well as post promotional reviews including CPA and performance recommendations


Your recipe for success?
 

  • Sales experience including account management, face-to-face reviews with retailers is highly desirable
  • Experience dealing with retail category managers
  • Commercially minded, results oriented sales professional, with shown success in developing and leading the strategy of new and existing channel partners
  • Outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaboration skills, with the ability to build good working optimistic relationships with the accounts and the amaysim team.
