The consumption solutions and Managed Services Business Development Manager serve as a growth engine for the newly formed Commercial and Enterprise Line of Business by generation new business and acquiring new accounts. This can be achieved through account planning, territory planning, researching and prospecting both customers and partners, using business development techniques and various field sales activities for large and untap segments.

 

You will part of a team that will be driving multi-hybrid cloud managed solutions and services to the customers. You can also look forward to interact and collaborate with a diverse and rich list of partners (both hardware and software) where we will work towards transforming traditional IT purchases into consumption based solutions to span across the cloud, core and edge in addition to helping customer in augmenting resource and skillset via our best in class managed services offering. Helping customer to digitalize their business processes and walking the cloud migration journey with the customer would be one of your key focus. Building a strong customer relationship and being a trusted advisor to our customer is your top priority.

What will you do?

  • Prospect, qualify and develop a robust sales pipeline
  • Develop and execute strategic and tactical plan for your assigned territory to meet monthly, quarterly and annual order bookings and revenue
  • Managed partner eco-system within your assigned territory
  • Timely and accurate update of opportunities, customer information, forecast to deliver credible management report
  • Advocate hybrid multi cloud solutions, cloud ops and managed services offering to senior executive, key decision makers and partners.
  • Prepare and conduct high impact sales presentations and engaging effectively across all levels of the customer’s organization.
  • Engage with customer, Service providers and partners and become a rainmaker and a deal maker.
  • Builds and influences relationship with sales leaders, solution practice leads, delivery leaders and internal support functions to support deal construct and to obtain approval for bid submission 
  • To help customer address and resolve business, financial and IT operational challenges
  • Determines business requirements, understands critical business success factors, solution mapping, timeline and position current market solutions and offering
  • In tune and updated with market and competitor offering, in order to provide competitive analysis to the bid team during the bid phase.
  • Plans and conducts complex contract negotiations which results in appropriate and often long-term agreements and commitments.
  • Participates in industry and business related organizations, societies, conferences and other client-related activities to maintain professional credibility and leadership. Leads by example and demonstrates the highest level of teamwork and professional qualities in all activities to enhance company's position in the marketplace.
  • May perform other related duties as required and assigned to grow the Managed Services business

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Possess at least 7 years of experience in business development or sales management
  • Some experience in Cloud Computing and/or IT Infrastructure Management would be advantageous
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Resilient, agile in problem-solving, and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above
