Responsibilities:

  • Drive hybrid multi-cloud architecture design and engineering. E.g. on-prem cloud, AWS, Azure and GCP.
  • Enable and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for both on-prem and cloud infrastructure provisioning (e.g. Terraform, Puppet, Cloudformation, ARM,etc.)
  • Lead and drive the Singtel Group in setting the long-term direction, roadmaps, and standards for technical architecture, especially related to cloud technology and services
  • Contribute to establish standards and design patterns for on-prem and different CSPs. 
  • Simplify and drive Cloud adoption in Singtel Group

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related technical field
  • Professional level “Solution Architect” certification in at least one cloud provider, e.g. AWS, Azure or GCP
  • More than 5 years of experience as an enterprise infra or solution architect in large enterprises
  • More than 3 years’ experience in architecting, designing, and implementing enterprise-scale virtualisation and multi-cloud services (e.g., applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, data) on major cloud providers like AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmap
  • Possess knowledge in on-prem cloud (e.g. VMware, Azure Stack HCI) & public cloud architecture; and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, network-stretch clusters, elastic scalability);
  • Good knowledge and working experience in at least one of the major cloud i.e. AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, technologies, and best practices
  • Knowledge in agile software development and ability to apply DevOps concepts such as Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD; and Configuration Management
  • Good to have:
    • Industry-certifications in enterprise architecture, technology domains (e.g. TOGAF, Cisco, VMware, HashiCorp)
    • Experience in network infrastructure, security, data, or application development
    • Knowledge of security controls on CSPs
    • Knowledge of SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) practice and toolkits
