Practice Manager (Cyber Security)

The role is a technical leader managing cyber security delivery and provide technical service for cyber security projects. He / She is required to handle senior stakeholders including customer, internal and external suppliers. Communication skills and decision making are needed as well as broad / deep cyber security knowledge.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible and point of escalation to ensuring smooth service delivery, meeting the SLA requirement and ensure technical delivery is aligned to business planning, risk and issue management.

  • Supporting Sales and Presales on solution proposal in tender stage and providing professional service quotation

  • Mentoring and motivating consultants to provide high-quality services to customers in an agreed timeline

  • Developing training program and products training for consultants

  • Staying abreast of industry trends and assess new technologies to ensure that our service offers are market leading


Continuous Improvement:

  • Provide input, guidance, and advice within the relevant specialist focus areas of technologies.

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of present technological trends, processes, and methodologies in the ICT marketplace to have a strong understanding and knowledge of competitor products and services.

  • Point of contact to assist and advise customer for ICT security related matters

Experience Required

  • Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering and Information Systems or related

  • Minimum 10 years of working experience

  • Minimally 4 years of direct experience in security architecture, design and development. It would be advantageous to be familiar with products such as:

    • Network and Infrastructure Security solutions including: Firewall, IPS, IDS, VPN, authentication, content filtering, data loss prevention & SIEM; OS-hardening, and Web server security; Vulnerability assessment

    • Content (Identity/Application/Data) Security including: Authentication and Digital Certificate knowledge, (such as PKI and Certificate Authority services eg. Microsoft CA), Identity provisioning, Web SSO, Directories, Active Directory

    • Mobility Security

    • Endpoint Security

    • Cloud Security

  • Experience in preparing technical / architect blueprint and in designing distributed systems is an added advantage (on a macro level)
     

Competency/role Requirements

  • Understand & analyze the requirements to assist in development of module technical design specification & translating design into process/program specifications.

  • Familiarity with surrounding supporting enterprise information infrastructure (eg. server, network, AD background) is highly preferred.

  • Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques.

  • Demonstration of market/industry experience and knowledge and assistance in sales; customer-focused

  • Apart from technical implementation skills, ability to coordinate and liaise with other stakeholders, independently and as a team is expected.

  • English language proficiency

  • Professional security related qualification (i.e. CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, etc) will be an advantage

  • Singaporean preferred
