The Network Engineer is responsible for managing day to day support of operational tasks, requests, incidents and changes meeting customer’s requirements and Service Level Agreements.


The activities include:

  • conducting health check, conduct infrastructure monitoring, handle customer queries, investigate incidents reported, resolve the incidents, apply fixes, and also to ensure that incidents reported are tracked and resolved till closure
  • assisting the Team Lead/Operations Manager to train and guide junior team members


Key Responsibilities

  • Analysing, troubleshooting and correcting network problems remotely and on-site
  • Responsibility for documenting incident RCA report the configuration of the system and (network) system performance tuning
  • Responsibility for security compliance, patching, health check & hardening remediation
  • Maintaining and administering perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
  • Performing standard or project change request as per change window
  • Provide on-call 24 x 7 support on a rotating basis
  • Responsible for applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes
  • Performing disaster recovery operations
  • Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation


The ideal candidate should possess

  • Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent
  • Experienced in network/security administration in enterprise DC and Public Environment
  • Experiences in supporting firewall /network product such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki and Check Point
  • Experienced in troubleshooting system, middleware and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software issues, analysing system logs and identifying potential issues/incident
  • Experience in managing IT Network Infrastructure operations (2 year or more)
