This role is accountable to define and drive Singtel Data Architecture, roadmap, and most importantly driving business value through the alignment to Singtel Data Strategy defined by business. It covers the following key tasks within Group IT:

 

  • Data Architecture
  • Data Standards, Guidelines and Best Practices
  • Data Modeling
  • Data Security
  • Data Life Cycle Management
  • Master Data Management
  • Metadata Data Management
  • Data Quality Management

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive data-driven culture in Singtel Group IT
  • Develop and define Singtel data architecture, guidelines and roadmap with stakeholders
  • Maintain and manage data architecture blueprint for EIM applications
  • Establish standards and best practices for data life cycle management
  • Create and maintain logical / physical data models and data lineage based on business requirements, business process flows, data sources & data flows
  • Review and approve data model designs to ensure integrity, accuracy & quality of data within the enterprise data warehouse, big data platforms and other EIM applications
  • Lead the identification of technologies & tools to implement data profiling and data quality capabilities in EIM
  • Create process framework to engage business stakeholders for implementing data quality rules
  • Lead the identification of technologies and tools to implement persistent and dynamic data masking capabilities in relational database and big data platforms of EIM
  • Lead the solution and implementation of security access matrix in relational and big data platforms in EIM
  • Lead the identification of technologies and tools to implement meta data management capabilities in EIM
  • Lead the identification of tools to implement master data management capabilities for the organization
  • Maintain and manage data dictionary for EIM applications
  • Coaching and Mentoring across EIM domain on data management

     

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in defining and maintaining data architecture, logical & physical data models, data standards, naming conventions, primary key guidelines, and data flow
  • Over 10 years of experience in data warehouse, relational & dimensional data modeling, and performance tuning of large scale data warehouses
  • Minimum 5 years in managing Data, BI & Analytics Architecture & Solution team
  • Experience in defining corporate-wide data strategy and data governance
  • Experience in implementing data governance initiatives
  • Experience in designing and developing data models, integrating data from multiple sources, data flow design, building ETL pipelines for  data warehouse
  • Solid understanding and implementing master data management
  • Solid understanding of metadata management best practices with experience implementing or operating a metadata repository
  • Solid understanding of data quality management
  • Strong knowledge in SQL
  • Strong understanding of Telco data models
