• The Senior Manager is responsible for leading a team on the Design and Project Delivery of Singtel IT Network Infrastructure. Technology involves Routing & Switching, Firewalls, Security Orchestration, Load Balancers, IPAM, Authentication Systems and SDN supporting Local campus, Global offices and Hybrid clouds.
• The Senior Manager ensures that the Infrastructure solutions make the best use of the technology platforms to meet the business requirements and in line with the Infrastructure Enterprise Architecture to meet Technology Infrastructure (TI) strategic objectives at optimal cost.
• The candidate is responsible for the team management functions including Budget management, Team management & appraisals, Case escalations, Network Demand management, RCA management, Leading meetings & presentations on deliverables and updates to respective supervisor and key stakeholders.

• Ensure and Lead the Team to produce an integrated solution covering all areas and in line with the TI strategy
• Ensure and Lead the Team on gathering Infrastructure requirements for all projects with infrastructure deliverables
• Ensure and Lead the Team on working closely with the Infrastructure Project Team (SDM) on project engagements
• Ensure and Lead the Team on working with Infrastructure SDM to provide a consensus-based enterprise outcome that is scalable, adaptable and in line with ever changing business needs.
• Ensure and Lead the Team on producing infra diagrams that identifies the infrastructure components including Network infrastructure, Security requirements and Compute/Storage requirement for the solution.
• Ensure and Lead the Team that the solutions proposed is in compliance with security and best practices adopted by the industry
• Ensure and Lead the Team on proper documentations and communicate Enterprise Infrastructure strategies & standards
• Ensure and Lead the Team that the solutions are in compliance and integration with enterprise architecture & Infosec policy for Infrastructure and Security systems by reviewing and advising on new and existing Information Technology projects
• Ensure and Lead the Team to provide advice and guidance to management during planning phases to ensure that non-functional requirements are included in the overall specifications
• Ensure and Lead the Team to provide advice and guidance to all areas of IT and Business Management, analysts, SDM, designers and developers on all aspects of Network & Security infrastructure
• Ensure and Lead the Team that the deliverables meet all related engineering, planning, and operational standards
• Ensure and Lead the Team to identify potential network issues and risks, and to provide workable technical solutions to mitigate such risks
• Ensure and Lead the Team to document network performance in order to take proactive and corrective action as needed
• Playing a major role in the selection of any new IT, infrastructure, or technology solution
• Maintaining a knowledge base to ensure network intellectual property is retained.
• To manage all HR related matters on the Team, Team appraisals and KPI.
• To plan and manage all current and future roadmap on Network related Budgets including capitalization of Headcounts.
• To lead meetings and produce presentations as needed for Supervisor and Top management.

Skills for Success:

• Degree in computer science/ Information Technology, Network Industry certification (e.g CCNA, CCNP) and Professional Security certification is highly desirable.
• 7-8 years of experience on Corporate Network & Security.
• 7-8 years of experience managing a team on Design, Delivery and Operations
• Experience and knowledge in area of Network, Firewalls, IPS, Load balancers, Authentication Systems and IPAM.
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN and Data Centre network & Security industry standards relevant to data communications / networking and computing.
• Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) on Cisco ACI will be advantageous.
• Knowledge on Security best practices and experience in Network solutioning, Operations and Project Management.
• Ability to direct project design and planning activities associated with complex or large sized network infrastructure development projects.
• Experience in dealing with vendors on technology and services
