As Lead Solutions Designer for SAP Employee Central (EC) Payroll at Optus, you will be instrumental in delivering high-impact SAP projects, with a specialization in SuccessFactors Payroll solutions. You will collaborate closely with Payroll teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective system designs. Your expertise will drive the implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of payroll technologies.
What You'll Do
• Lead and configure SAP Payroll components, including wage types, schemas, and payroll rules.
• Review and optimize the Payroll Control Centre (PCC) to enhance payroll operations.
• Conduct requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews.
• Collaborate with HR and IT teams to ensure seamless system integration and operational stability.
• Support payroll execution and troubleshoot issues in Employee Central (EC) Payroll and/or SAP HCM Payroll.
• Drive enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives in payroll processes.
• Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations, preferably in Australia.
• Provide training and develop documentation for end users.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for payroll-related queries and escalations.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SAP SuccessFactors, with deep expertise in Payroll.
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll processes and legislation.
- Proven ability to manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
- Experience in optimizing and innovating HR business processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex payroll issues.
- Excellent communication skills for client engagement and status reporting.
- Familiarity with the SuccessFactors roadmap and upcoming product releases.
- Background in consulting will be highly regarded
