About The Role

The Optus TV & Content team is responsible for a key pillar of the Optus strategic plan; to excite our customers with a range of exclusive and non-exclusive content, delivered in an ever-increasing mobile and digital life and where customer experience needs to be uncompromising.  This entertainment strategy will see Optus move from traditional telco to the entertainment and content provider of choice in Australia as it differentiates against other telco’s and content providers.

 

The Ad Operations Manager reports into the Director, Direct Revenue & Growth and this team is responsible for the monetisation of the Optus entertainment products which is predominantly Optus Sport.

 

Still a relatively new digital media player in the market, Optus Sport’s client base and complexity of the ad product have expanded beyond linear and digital video which has resulted in a significant increase in volume and complexity of the campaigns that deliver across the multiple Optus Sport platforms.

 

The Direct Revenue team are seeking an Ad Operations Manager who will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting on campaigns across platforms for Live and VOD content and off-platform channels. The role will work within the Google Ad Manager and programmatic supply side platforms whilst using analytics and other Optus systems daily. Responsible for the end-to-end management of all advertising campaigns, this role is an interface supporting the ad sales team and is therefore the backbone of the team’s ability to deliver on their commercial commitments.

 

Experience

 

You will be a highly skilled Advertising Ops Manager with knowledge and expertise in digital advertising creative trafficking and trouble-shooting processes. The successful candidate will have experience working in the Google Ad Manager or Google Advertising suite of products. Experience in programmatic advertising a plus!
