The Connected Experiences Tribe’s purpose is to deliver simple and intuitive digital experiences which services all our customers’ needs, increase revenue, drive a reduction in assisted contacts. It consists of multiple cross functional teams (squads) which each have clear specific purposes and objectives that align to the Connected Experience Tribe mission. The Digital Product Manager will report into the Business Analysis & Solutions (BAS) Chapter lead.

The Digital Product Manager Owner plays a critical role in leading the execution of the Digital Strategy. They will be responsible for driving & delivering new digital experiences for customers and the business as well as maintaining the best possible experience for existing features in My Optus App (MOA). The Digital Product Manager is a master at managing brilliant stakeholder relationships and helps engage, influence and collaborate with internal departments to ensure new initiatives are brought to life and adopted seamlessly by customers.


About the role

Working within an agile environment, the Digital Product Manager will be required to think outside the box to deliver innovative digital experiences through MOA. The Digital Product Manager oversee the entire lifecycle of a digital product, from inception to launch. The role requires a range of skills from market and customer research, requirements elicitation, UX/UI design and oversight of the development process. You will be responsible for the

overall vision of the product. You will perform the role as the as the advocate for the end user in identifying customer pain points and translating those needs into new product features for the squad to design.

This role requires a talented leader with a strategic digitally focused mindset, highly customer focused background and associated ‘soft’ skills including exemplary stakeholder management skills and broader leadership skills. Success will be measured by speed of feature delivery, customer adoption, transformation of customer behaviour and enablement of business goals through focusing on achieving best in class mobile app experiences.



About You

We are looking for the following skills, attributes and experience

5+ years Product Owner/Digital BA Experience

 3 + Years agile experience

Developing business cases for investment justification in order to deliver against AOP targets

Effective validation of IT solutions and identification of alternative solutions for the delivery of products to ensure Online requirements are met

 Building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements gathering, business process reengineering, GAP Analysis, writing user stories and functional documentation -

Agile delivery methodology - Experience working in a large Digital organization - Experience achieving P&L outcomes -

Customer journey mapping -

Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines. -

Ability to identify and create optimal solutions that balance customer and market needs with what is realistic, at reasonable cost, in reasonable time and with available resources
