About your team


Optus for Business services the Australian SMB market, comprising 2.3 million businesses growing at a rapid rate over the past 5 years.


To achieve our vision of becoming Australia's most loved everyday brand with lasting customer relationships, we'll continue to evolve our Product strategy, build a more effective operating model, and ensure our Product platforms deliver optimised customer experiences.  


About your role


You will be instrumental in delivering incremental growth and driving excellence in execution by defining, developing and delivering the Optus for Business Product vision, strategy, roadmap and Annual Operating Plan.


Additionally, you will also create and develop a high performing team and also own cross-product initiatives with the broader team.


Qualifications, skills & experience


  • Tertiary qualified in a relevant subject area, with post-grad (e.g., Masters, MBA) desirable;
  • Minimum of 10+ years’ professional end-to-end Telco experience;
  • Outstanding commercial competence (P&L, CX & NPS metric ownership) as well as proven experience leading and developing diverse teams;
  • IT platforms and strategic analysis experience, and ability to extract insights from disparate sources of data;
  • Advanced relationship skills including vendor and contract management experience;
  • Ability to interrogate IT environment and proposed approaches to deliver business requirements; &
  • Design thinking, ownership and accountability, self-driven, outcome & customer oriented.
