Reporting to the National Sales Manager – SoHo Micro Retail , The Hybrid Sales & capability Manager is a pivotal role within the SoHo Micro Retail team driving growth and market share across SoHo, Micro & Fleet in both regional and metro markets. 

 

The primary purpose of the Hybrid Sales & Capability Manager role is as a subject matter expert or 'Product Champion' on all products, processes and sales capability with SMB retail.

 

They will provide high-level, presales technical advice and expertise in the commercial adoption of technology across all products within the SMB retail portfolio. This includes but is not limited to Fixed, Converged Voice, Data, Phone Systems, Mobile, Mobility Applications and Broadband. Their focus will be 'Whole of Business'. 

 

The Hybrid Sales & Capability Manager will be responsible for identifying a clear and targeted acquisition plan to address the customers' requirements and supporting their channels in instances where clients require a more complex, sophisticated and innovative solution such as complex fixed, data and cloud solutions. The role promotes market knowledge and shares information with the sales teams regarding technical developments and trends in customer needs.

 

Building and managing performance metrics is key to the success in the role. In addition to pre-sales technical support, they will be responsible for development of the Retail Channel Hybrid Partner program, their sales team and support staff to maximize sales of Optus products addressing the SMB market. Success in this role will be evident in the achievement of new business sales resulting in growing fixed market share, mobile gross adds, knowledge development and essential behavioural competencies and increased distribution.

 

Training and performance management along with driving accountability through internal & external stakeholders will ensure success in the role.
