Being co-located and guided by a specific purpose, these cross-functional teams can drive collaboration across our different business divisions. The SMB Loyalty & Customer Value cross-functional team is being established to support our SMB business unity to maximising the lifetime value of every Optus SMB customer.  The team will focus on delivering the business with a clear view and insights on the SMB base, build predictive models for churn and base growth and executing on campaigns to drive incremental uplift in base growth and customer retention.

 

About the role…

The Pega Proposition Analyst role sits within the SMB Loyalty & Customer Value cross-functional.  The role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of propositions to our customers through our Next Best Action (NBA) platform, from pre-analysis and idea generation through to proposition impact assessment and business recommendations on how to optimise.  This is across both inbound and outbound activities.

 

The effective analysis of customers and understanding trends, profiles and overall product and proposition performance are critical to the success of the company. In order to make these recommendations, the Pega Proposition Analyst must be proficient in variety of techniques including data extraction, data set creation, campaign design and execution, statistical and commercial analysis as well as being comfortable with research and unstructured datasets. The Proposition Analyst will be a self-starter, and have the ability to work on multiple activities at once, working towards efficiency and accuracy in design. They would also be expected to deliver to the same methodology used in complex forecasting across the group in order to align outcomes.

 

The Pega Proposition Analyst will engage and collaborate with their key Business Unit stakeholders to understand the key business problems to be solved and the key business metrics they need to impact business outcomes. They will be able to work with business stakeholders through the full end-to-end business and campaign analysis process from requirements gathering to problem articulation, campaign design, build and execution, and then delivering results and recommendations back to the business.

 

The Pega Proposition Analyst is responsible for:

•        Building towards best in class campaign design and technical performance efficiency;

•        Translating marketing requirements into Campaign and other analytical tasks;

•        Performing data, statistical and customer analysis to understand how campaign interventions, product changes and market dynamics impact the business;

•        Consolidating information to present a holistic view of customer behaviors, market trends and marketing campaign effectiveness;

•        Developing recommendations with a clearly articulated, structured argument;

•        Undertaking data extraction and preparation for pre-campaign analysis and design;

•        Building and executing campaigns/propositions through SAS and PEGA;

•        Using SQL skills to further enhance campaign design as required;

•        Delivering findings back to cross-functional; and

•        Contributing to the overall team productivity and process improvements.

 

You will have extensive analytical experience including a proven track record of sourcing and manipulating data to deliver robust analysis and problem solving in dynamic and complex environment. Experience in SQL is a must, SAS and/or PEGA experience is preferred. So too is Tableau or other reporting tool experience as well as statistical analysis and data mining.
