The Regional & Sales Execution team supports the vision by analysing channel and product performance in and executing against these insights in service of increasing sales. Team responsibilities include opportunity identification, regional planning & sales execution and national channel enablement.


We are a team of product category and channel experts who play an omni-channel role in service of driving Optus market share growth and optimal channel mix. We are a highly accountable and achievement oriented team who play a leadership role in driving the organisation towards its goals.


The Sales Analytics Manager is accountable for driving sales analytics across the entire Sales organisation. You will lead the development of clear recommendations on strategically important business issues merging analytically driven insight with a deep understanding of the channels and the business.


As the owner of a Sales Analytics portfolio, this role is accountable for:

  • analysis of sales performance, identification of areas of underperformance vs. over-performance and variation management
  • identification of underlying drivers and distillation of performance into actionable insights
  • developing recommendations and influencing stakeholders to ensure performance insights are actioned in a timely and effective manner to ensure Annual Operationg Plan targets are achieved


We expect that you’ll have significant exposure to professional marketing or commercial environments, alongside demonstrable experience in interpreting and analysing data and identifying key trends and opportunities.


You should be passionate about driving sales performance insights, borne from your analysis and confident to present and persuade them, to an array of stakeholders. You will be an expert in identifying performance trends & anomalies and thrive in environments where you can build insights narratives, to support Sales performance.
