We are currently recruiting two exciting and rewarding opportunities to join us in our journey and join our HR Services Delivery team.

 

  • 1x – Permanent (Sydney Based)
  • 1x – 12-month fixed term (Sydney or Melbourne Based)

 

Do you see yourself as part of our team?

 

As a Senior HR Advisor within the team, these positions sit within the Services Delivery team which provide Strategic, Consulting, Senior Advisory and Tier 1 advice to the business. Your role will be to partner with various leadership levels and business units across the Optus brand providing advice and coaching to our leaders from informal conversations, up to and including termination of employment.

 

You will be actively coaching leaders through performance management issues, behavioural concerns, employee grievances, and conducting workplace investigations such as, bullying, fraud, harassment and Whistle-blower complaints. Additionally, you will be conducting job evaluations and managing employees on extended sick leave.

 

You will also have the opportunity to support HR initiatives and projects; developing HR capabilities through organisational re-alignments, automation, creating digital training and customer experience enhancements.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your dynamic proven skills which you have developed in a similar role and can bring your existing experience in:

  • Providing HR advice and coaching to large complex organisation leaders (informal conversations through to termination of employment).
  • Tertiary qualification in HR, or related field
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse teams
  • Case Management – Coaching leaders through: performance management issues, behavioural concerns and employee grievances.
  • Conducting workplace investigations.
  • Hays Job Evaluation methodology preferred.
  • Minimising overall reputational and Industrial Relations risks
  • Proven experience/understanding of legislation, Fair Work Act and Employee Partnership Agreements.
  • Curiosity and desire to venture beneath the surface of a problem, find the questions at its heart, and for win-win outcomes.
