By re-designing the way we enable digital interfaces to our customers, our Digital Core platform will simplify and personalise our digital experiences, automate our digital processes, and give Optus more flexibility and agility to adapt to market needs. The Digital BU  is responsible for the strategy and execution across key customer touchpoints including our online channels, website and market leading My Optus App. With two wins at the recent annual CX Awards, our Digital Team is at the top of their game. Optus’ Digital Hub’s purpose is to deliver simple and intuitive digital customer experiences. The hub consists of several cross functional teams (squads) who are all about getting it done, faster, together. We’re in the lookout for a superstar Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) to work with our Digital Sales squads and deliver against our purpose to grow online sales via simple user interfaces with relevant and exciting offers.

 

What a typical sprint will look like for this role: Lead UX Experimentation across Sales squads, guiding the team on well-defined hypothesis, prioritization framework and solutions to be tested; Collaborate with Product Owner and respective business partners to define future areas of focus for UX research and design; Lead end-to-end UX research including testing plans, participant recruitment, facilitations, synthesize and present finding/insights; Design new customer journeys and interfaces, from low-def to high-def artefacts including sketching, wireframing, interactive prototyping and visual design; Collaborate with technical/CMS producers and Digital Designer to define new pre-built HTML templates and workflow/process improvements; Deliver digital assets that adher to Digital Style Guide, spec for all screen sizes (mobile, tablet and desktop) and platforms (Web & App) and Update Digital Style Guide and pattern libraries where needed, auditing and fixing web interfaces to ensure the highest possible standard of visual design across optus.com.au

 

About You 

The skills you will need include:

  • Deep understanding and experience with Experimentation frameworks and tools (Optimizely and Google Optimise 360 are a must)
  • Clear communication of design rationale backed up with solid data and customer insight (quant/qual)
  • The ability to create prototypes at various fidelity using tools like Framer, Flinto, Keynote, InVision, HTML/CSS/JS, etc
  • Strong knowledge of HCD and WCGA AA+ Accessibility standards
  • Experience designing responsive web interfaces with high-fidelity screen designs tools (Sketch, Invision, Adobe XD, Photoshop are a must)
